Header Section

Header Section

If you have installed the Quickstart package, edit the following modules instead of creating them again.

Quick Links:

  1. Log in to Joomla! Administrator if you haven't already.
  2. Access the template admin by navigating to Components -> Gantry 5 Themes -> Default Theme in the left menu.
  3. Click on Layout tab
  4. Scroll to the Header section and click (config icon) next to the Header Toolbar particle.

  5. Add or edit links under Quick Links - Options section.

Email & Phone Number:

  1. In the Header Toolbar particle, edit the email address and phone number under the Email & Phone Number - Options section.

Change Logo:

  1. In the Header Toolbar particle, change the logo under the Logo - Options section.

Hikashop Cart Module:

  1. Navigate to Content -> Site Modules in the left menu.
  2. Click on New button to create new module
  3. Select a Module Type : Hikashop Cart Module
  4. Show Title : Hide
  5. Position : header-cart
  6. Menu Assignment : On all pages
  7. Hikashop Options

  8. Translating Cart Text , SHOPPING CART & item(s)

Translate the texts in the Header Cart:

To translate the SHOPPING CART and item(s) text, follow the instructions below:

  1. Navigate to ROOT/templates/DEFAULT_TEMPLATE/language/en-GB/ and open the file en-GB.tpl_r_TEMPLATE_NAME.ini using an FTP client.
  2. Review the available options and perform the translations as necessary.
